Designed in 1956 by Vilhelm Lauritzen in Copenhagen, the Vega chair is a modern masterpiece. Formerly only found in Vega, the historic concert hall in Copenhagen, the chair is now available for purchase thanks to Carl Hansen and Son’s partnership with Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects.

Featuring Vilhelm Lauritzen’s signature aesthetic, the chair is effortlessly simple yet functional. Stackable up to 8 chairs, the chair is also well-proportioned for comfort with its curved back embracing the sitter. Crafted excellently in wood and steel, the chair is available with optional upholstery on the seat and the back to elevate the comfort level. The chair also comes with elegant wooden feet for an artisanal feel.
