As part of the FIN/JPN Friendship Collection, Artek partnered with Tokyo-based architect and designer Jo Nagasaka to create a new iteration of the Alvar Aalto classic, the Aalto 153B bench.
Nagasaka’s experimentation into the traditional Japanese practices of Udukuri and Tsugaru-Nuri, resulted in the development of a new process, ColoRing.
Available in three colourways. The ColoRing range also includes the Artek Stool 60 ColoRing.
Made in Finland.
