For their first outdoor range, Vaarnii has collaborated with Finnish designer Henrik Tjaerby to create the Osa Outdoor Dining Table and the Osa Bench.

Tjaerby, whose design aesthetic blends industrial design with exquisite carpentry, has designed an unapologetically brutal dining table and bench using an astutely contrived assembly of T-shaped beams and joints with minimal fixings.

Staying true to Vaarnii’s ethos of honouring the natural qualities of pine, the Osa range is crafted from Finnish pine wood. To make it suitable for outdoor use, Vaarnii has used a heat treatment, which permits the wood to be more robust, light weight, and prevents warping.
